Our family loves word play. Especially dad jokes. Remarkably, they tend to receive about half as many facepalms as my serenading — and as far as I'm concerned, jury's out if that's a good thing or not. A lot of times when we're commuting to/from school, someone throws out a topic (like fish) and then everyone prepares to duck from the puns getting flung around. Sometimes the jokes flounder. And sometimes they're crappy and make you want to skate. Shoot, I can barely type all of that with a straight face.

Anyway, I couldn't imagine having Lulu's activity book without rolling in some forest-y/beaver-y dad jokes. So, to add a little levity to your day, here are a few of the Forest Funnies that are coming soon to a sidebar in an activity book near you. They're unbeleafable.

Q Why couldn’t the beavers figure out the puzzle?

A They were stumped!

A Leaf me alone!

A He decided to stick with it

Hahahah. Anyway, I'd be happy if that put a smile on your face that's even a fraction of the size of the smile on my face from all of you.
